The Republican party is useless. They always surrender and give up what little leverage they have in Congress. This loserism was preventable had MAGA slack-jaws got out of the double-wides and showed up to purge the GOP during primary elections earlier this summer. But nope. Just like the Tea Party that came before MAGA, these people never show up to vote out the swamp rats when it matters. People are policy. The MAGA slack jaws have little comprehension what it takes to wrestle a political party away from its out of touch elites. That means GOP leadership would be ignoring a demand from former President Donald Trump to shut down the government unless Republicans get their non-citizen voting bill, also known as the SAVE Act.
