This will be our last Live Stream before (the Western) Christmas.

As always, there is much to discuss, including the latest developments in Ukraine and Syria, and the political situation in the US, the UK, and the EU.

Today I’m writing to old friends sending them seasons greetings. They are like many on the Duran scattered far and wide around the globe. Some of them currently consumed with family drama, as always happens around festivities for some reason, nothing major just the usual stuff of which in-laws get the lion’s share of time with the grandchildren and what to buy so as not to over indulge them when others have less or little. Others, like me and mine, trying not to be dragged into the cyclone of despair with the state of the world, clinging to the faith that God has a plan, even in these turbulent times, which is difficult I grant you.
So what can I offer to those in dire straits when my anguish would only add energy to misery, my gift though small is a pledge never to turn away from the fight for peace, to give prayer and thought to all those who know not what tomorrow brings.
